Managed Accounts
In Futures, FX and CFDs

A Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) manages futures trading on behalf of others. At MF Global we clear over 10% of all CTA money invested internationally.

Why Managed Futures?
The performance of managed futures as a stand-alone investment has an enviable track record. In fact many investors use managed futures to diversify their portfolios because managed futures have low-correlation with traditional asset classes.

Many CTAs will manage investments starting from US$50,000. Accounts are managed individually according to the risk reward appetite of the investor.

Selecting a CTA
Institutional Advisory Services Group (IASG) maintains a database of some 2500 CTAs. They record performance, drawdowns, average recovery time, and standard deviation.

In fact IASG aims to match a client's risk reward profile with individual CTAs.
